Rezoning for the land located at 11916 Jasper Avenue is being proposed to allow for the construction of a 13 storey high-rise for seniors.
A public meeting will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church (9907 - 114 Street, Edmonton, AB) on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at 7 pm, for citizens to discuss the proposal.

We stopped by the area north of Jasper Avenue between 122 and 123 Street (a new condo development site) and we took a couple of photos of the progress made so far, including the demolition of the building at Jasper and 123 Street.

Parkview is a residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. The neighbourhood is informally split into two smaller neighbourhoods, with the portion east of 142 Street called Valleyview and the portion west of 142 Street called Parkview. There is a small strip shopping centre, Valleyview Shopping Centre, located near the centre of the neighbourhood on the Parkview side of 142 Street.
