Friday, March 18, 2011 - Run Wild Leading Edge Marathon

What will you be doing on May 15th?

If you enjoy running, or have considered starting, there will be a great event on May 15th in St. Albert: The RunWild Leading Edge Marathon.

There is something for everyone:  a full (qualifying!) marathon, a half marathon, 10k, 5k, and Marafun. 

On top of a being great motivator to get off the couch and get in shape, proceeds from the race go to the Zebra Child Protection Centre -an incredible organization, and the first of its kind in Canada!

Need more incentive?  Our assistant, Catherine, will be in the half-marathon, and her goal is 2:00 - 2:10.  (note from Catherine: surely there are many out there who would like to kick my butt... bring it on!)

Parkview
Parkview is a residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. The neighbourhood is informally split into two smaller neighbourhoods, with the portion east of 142 Street called Valleyview and the portion west of 142 Street called Parkview. There is a small strip shopping centre, Valleyview Shopping Centre, located near the centre of the neighbourhood on the Parkview side of 142 Street.
