There is a new school in the Summerside & Ellerslie area for Kindergarten - Grade 9 Students!   Michael Strembitsky School opened in September of this year, and they just had their grand opening ceremony on October 18th. 

The new school will be holding a silent auction on December 6th to help raise funds for team uniforms, specialized game & practice equipment & supplies, coach training, and travel not covered by team fees.   They are looking for donations of items such as the following for the silent auction:

•     Gift cards and certificates for any retailer (hair salon, restaurant, coffee house, grocery store, clothing store etc.)
•     Gift baskets (eg. Coffee products, bath products, hair products, etc.)
•     Small appliances (toasters, slow cookers, waffle irons, etc.)
•     Children’s toys
•     Accessories (jewelry, purses, scarfs, etc.)
•     Tools
•     Tickets to sporting events and concerts
•     Signed sports memorabilia
•     A round of golf
•     Hotel / vacation gift certificates
