Edmonton has finally made the top 10 list of Canada's most liveable cities! We are #8 (Even more impressive, St. Albert was #5.  Calgary came in at #16).   The list is based on several criteria such as income levels, cost of living, employment levels, weather, etc...) Monday, March 14, 2011 - Canadian household net worth hit a new record high in the fourth quarter of 2010

from www.rbc.com March 14, 2011 The market value of Canadian household net worth increased by 2.2% ($132 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2010 to $6.2 trillion. Edmonton, March 2, 2011: It was 2009 all over again if the housing figures released by the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton are any indication. Prices for all categories of residential property sold in February mirrored prices in the same month in 2009 after showing pricing gains from January this year. Parkview
Parkview is a residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. The neighbourhood is informally split into two smaller neighbourhoods, with the portion east of 142 Street called Valleyview and the portion west of 142 Street called Parkview. There is a small strip shopping centre, Valleyview Shopping Centre, located near the centre of the neighbourhood on the Parkview side of 142 Street.
